Hoodies/Jeans/Sneakers: October 26, 2015

October 26, 2015 | by Paul

It’s the stereotypical hacker outfit. Do it wrong, and you look like you’re still living with mom. Do it right, and you look like a million bucks (in unvested stock options). Here are three items — a hoodie, some jeans, and a pair of sneakers — that are on sale for a great price and worth a look this week.

The Hoodie: Uniqlo Ultra Light Down Hooded Jacket, $70 + Free Shipping (was $90)

This is cheating, but I love this jacket and you can still pick it up on the cheap. I reviewed the standard Uniqlo Ultra Light Down jacket last week. Summary: Get one.

The Jeans: Gap 1969 Skinny Fit Jeans (Authentic Repair Selvedge), $65 + Free Shipping (was $128)

Gap is running a “Farewell to Fall” sale and a lot of their jeans included in the sale are the in-authentically-worn-out kind. Sizes are a bit scattered, but prices dip way down. These guys are $35. These are $17. Take a look around. Your office will have to be pretty casual to pull these looks off.

The Sneakers: Vans Asher Printed Slip-On Sneaker, $35 + Free-ish Shipping (was $50)

These might appear on my feet in a few weeks. Not really fall-appropriate. Not really office-appropriate (for many). But I really like the dual pattern and I’ve been looking to scoop of a pair of on-sale Vans for a while now. Have you too?

Bonus: Levi’s Sale

Levi’s dot com is running a promotion that’ll knock prices down up to 40%. Take a look here. The 511 Rigid Dragons are just $39.99. They’re our favorite Levi’s and $40 isn’t a bad price!
