Hoodies/Jeans/Sneakers: November 2, 2015

November 2, 2015 | by Josh

It’s the stereotypical hacker outfit. Do it wrong, and you look like you’re still living with mom. Do it right, and you look like a million bucks (in unvested stock options). Here are three items — a hoodie, some jeans, and a pair of sneakers — that are on sale for a great price and worth a look this week.

The Hoodie: Threads for Thought Raglan Hoodie, $29.49 (originally $59.00)

Read about the Threads for Thought sustainable fashion mission. Or just check out their sweet (and reasonably priced) hoodie!

A self-lined hood and heathered raglan sleeves outline an ultrasoft trim-fitting zip hoodie classically designed with split kangaroo pockets and banded cuffs and hem.

The Jeans: Lucky Brand 121 Heritage Slim-Fit Straight-Leg Jeans, Morro Bay Wash, $59.19 (20% off of $73.99 sale price with coupon code “RED”, expires 11/2)

This is a great price for some great Lucky Brand jeans. Here’s a blurb from Lucky about their 121:

121 Heritage Slim jeans from Lucky Brand have a modern vibe. Slim through the hips thighs, and legs they offer a more tailored silhouette. Fashioned from a blend of cotton and spandex, Lucky Brand 121 Heritage Slim offer great movement and flexibility for for all-day comfort.

The Sneakers: Cole Haan Air Conner, $89.97 (regularly $149.95)

I might make fun of these sneakers quite a bit (going so far as to call them the “mullet of shoes“), but this business in the front & party in the back style is starting to grow on me. Cole Haan is offering 40% off of sale items at checkout with the code EXTRA40. If you ahve the time, give the rest of their sale a gander, because it’s a big one.
