East Dane has up to 40% off of select items through 11/6. If you haven’t shopped East Dane before, they’re an Amazon company geared towards the mid to high-end of the fashion & accessories market. Being an Amazon company makes login, shipping, and returns easy. You probably already knew that, though, if one of your hobbies is dressing yourself and you’re reading an article about it in the middle of the day… so without further ado, here’s some picks!
Wings + Horns Cabin Fleece Zip Off Hoody, $144 + Free Shipping (originally $240)
This Canadian-made hoodie has plenty of subtle details including the beautiful flatlock stitching throughout, but the main feature is the zip-off hood. Allowing you to decide if you’d like to wear a hoodie or a crew neck sweatshirt on a whim. From W+H:
A custom three-layer japanese fabric, cabin fleece returns for fall in a raglan sweatshirt with a zip-off hood. featuring a herringbone tape riri zipper, full-length underarm gussets and flatlock stitching.
Quoddy Suede Bluchers, $210 + FS (originally $300)
While Quoddy didn’t show up in our Boat Shoe rundown this summer, they are a “Made in America” company known for their excellent quality. These black on black bulchers have suede uppers, with matching camp sole, and gun metal hardware with black rawhide laces. Perfect with jeans and a tshirt on the street, or with navy/charcoal pants and your favorite button-down in the office. They’re only available in full sizes for some reason, which may be why there’s a price reduction.
Wings + Horns Knit Wool Topcoat , $372 + FS (originally $620)
This Canadian-made topcoat isn’t your dad’s traditionally-styled topcoat. It’s just different enough. The japanese knit wool + cotton blend gives it the hand-feel of a comfy sweater. Don’t worry, though, it has a stretch nylon lining and it’s windproof so it will keep you warm on blustery cold days. It has a contrasting herringbone under-collar for those of us that want to show off the detailing while protecting our neck from the winds of winter. I’m not usually a topcoat guy, but this has a styled & casual feel to it that makes me feel like I could consistently pull it off without wearing a suit underneath (though it’d look rad with a suit, too).
If you’re looking for something a little more traditional, check out this Our Legacy brushed wool, shearling-lined topcoat. It’s knee-length, too, if you suffer from cold thighs.
