Hoodies/Jeans/Sneakers: February 1, 2016

February 1, 2016 | by Josh

It’s the stereotypical hacker outfit. Do it wrong, and you look like you’re still living with mom. Do it right, and you look like a million bucks (in unvested stock options). Here are three items — a hoodie, some jeans, and a pair of sneakers — that are on sale for a great price and worth a look this week.

The Hoodie: Mountain Hardwear Men’s Graphic Full Zip Hoody. $47.99 (was $64.95)

A decent deal on a hoodie from one of the best outdoor clothing brands. I really dig the tucked-away yellow hoodie pulls & the subtle quilting. Plus it’s a cotton/poly blend so this hoodie will both have a unique texture to it, as well as being great at wicking moisture when you’re getting sweating on the slopes… or just trying to trudge through the snow on the way to work.

The Jeans: Levi’s 511 The Rich Slim Jean, $49.99 (was $64)

Urban Outfitters has a trio of 511s on sale in limited sizing. Linked above and pictured below is the dark-wash option. They also have a faded dark-wash option called Despondency for $44.99, and a medium wash called Tarnished Indigo for $44.99. All three options have a little stretch to them.

The Sneakers: Vans Atwood Deluxe, $44.99 (was $60)

A little bit skater, a little bit street. These are some of the most handsome Vans I’ve ever seen. Canvas upper with leather details on the tongue, heel-tab is something that I haven’t seen from Vans. These will be easy to rock with jeans or joggers, and they’re padded so they will be comfy walking around town all day. Sharp sneaks.
