Tech Tuesday: Get a 32 GB Google Nexus 9 for $299

March 29, 2016 | by Paul

I have Google’s original Nexus 7. It is a tired old man these days, so I’ve been in the market for a new tablet.

When the Nexus 9 was announced, I was sure it would be my guy. Then they announced the price. It was priced like an iPad Air, not like the first Nexus 7, which was priced like it had “fell off the truck.”

Well, what once was $480 is now $299.

Google Nexus 9 Tablet, $299 (save $180)

You’ll get 32 GB of storage and WiFi. And there’s an option for this:

The magnetically attached, fully-responsive keyboard allows you to type at different angles. Sold separately, it helps you get stuff done at home, at the office, and on the go.

Just like the iPad Pro and … you know … the Microsoft Surface.

So I’ve got a decision. Do I get one of these guys? Or do I go all the way down-market and pick up an Amazon 7-incher for $50?
