Hoodies/Jeans/Sneakers: May 2, 2016

May 2, 2016 | by Josh

Whether you’re working at a start-up, or working at a company that really wants people to think that they’re hip like a startup, wearing your hoodie/jeans/sneaks is part of the uniform. Do it wrong, and you look like you’re still living with mom. Do it right, and you look like a million bucks (in unvested stock options). Here are three items — a hoodie, some jeans, and a pair of sneakers — that are on sale for a great price and worth a look this week.

The Hoodie: SUPERDRY Green Label Cotton Hoodie, $40.30 (was $62)

Today only with code 35NOW.

This is a well made hoodie with plenty of stand-out details. I mean, just check out the rings around the hood’s pull-strings. A little about Superdry:

Inspired by a trip to Tokyo in 2003, Superdry fuses design influences from Japanese graphics and vintage Americana, with the values of British tailoring.
The result: unique urban clothing, with incredible branding and an unrivalled level of detailing. Such distinctiveness has gained the brand exclusive appeal, as well as an international celebrity following.

The Jeans: Hollister Skinny Button Fly Jeans, $21.99 (was $50)

Can you really afford to pass up on $20 jeans, especially these classics from Hollister? They’re comfortable 5-pocket jeans that fit great (as long as you can fit into skinny jeans).

The Sneakers: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II High Mono, Black, $59 (was $75)

Chuck II’s are finally starting to come down a little bit in price. Remember that these Chuck IIs have a padded footbed and a padded tongue, so they’ll fit a little different and add quite a bit of comfort compared to your classic Chucks.
