Transitioning your wardrobe from summer to fall, it’s going to require a wardrobe refresher. But, before you’re out the outdoor, gather inspiration to put together a cohesive fall wardrobe. Where do you find the latest trend or at least current outfit inspiration? On social media for starters.
As awesome as looking through that can be, there are tons of influencers to sort through. Don’t worry, because we are featuring the best-dressed guys to make things easier for you, so come back every week for brand new outfit inspiration.
Up first, New York City-based lifestyle blogger and creative consultant, Will Taylor from the popular blog Bright Bazaar. Will is known for his refreshing take on color, so of course, his personal style reflects that. Our favorite look on his Instagram is not only perfect for colder weather, but he is wearing the pants that you’ll be coveting all fall. Here’s his inspiration for the look.
“When it comes to dressing for a fall picnic I like to take my cues from the rich colors of the forthcoming season and the fading hues of the outgoing one. Think: deep cherry colored chinos to reflect the intense hues of the fall leaves paired with a faded green bomber jacket as a nod to the disappearing greenery that comes as summer turns to autumn. Wearing a washed pink shirt adds a smarter edge to the casual feel of the bomber jacket.”
Want to recreate Will’s dashing ensemble? Here’s how.
Will’s style is on the preppy, neat side. He styled his dark colored chinos with a dress shirt paired with a green bomber jacket. Here’s a similar shirt on sale and lightweight bomber jacket to replicate his look.
The deep cherry pants Will is wearing on his Instagram post are absolutely perfect for fall. They are super versatile and can go from a casual outing like a picnic (like Will) or for the office. We confirmed with Will that the pants are from Club Monaco, here’s a similar style of dark cherry chinos
Will complete his look with minimal accessories like a black watch and black leather sneakers. That totally makes sense since the deep cherry pants are definitely the statement piece followed by the green bomber jacket so the rest should definitely be a neutral color. Finish your outfit with a similar pair, we love this Converse black leather sneakers from Zappos.
