Hoodies/Jeans/Sneakers: Staycation

October 30, 2017 | by Scott

You have some time off coming up, and instead of traveling somewhere you want to stay home and find new ways to do things that are different from what you’re used to. Go on an out of the blue drive or just hang out at home without making concrete plans. You can stay at a hotel in your town and be a tourist in your own city. The world is a big place, and there are tons of places that you can explore right where you currently live. Play tourist for a few days by visiting museums, trying new restaurants, take a ghost tour, explore parks and historic sites you’ve never seen. The fun in that is that you can do what you want when you want since you’re on vacay. Also, wear whatever you want like your trusty uniform hoodies/jeans/sneakers. Check out what cool pieces we found for your staycation.

The Hoodie: Converse Core Colorblock Full-Zip, $58.49 (was $70)

Can’t decide on what to wear? Black or gray? How about hoodie with both colors? This contrasting colorblock hoodie is perfect for those days where you can make up your mind. The hoodie is full zip, and the ribbed cuff and hem help to seal out the cold. It’s usually around $70 on most sites, but we found one on sale. Awesome, right?

The Jeans: AEO 360 Extreme Flex Slim Jean, Black, $29.99 (was $59.95)

These jeans are not super baggy but also not super skinny either so a nice balance fit of both popular styles. Take these black jeans out on the town, pair with a graphic tee, hoodie and canvas sneakers for a walking tour of your town or a dress shirt, hoodie and leather sneakers for a spontaneous date night.

The Sneakers: Nike SB Check Solar Canvas, Black, $65

Add a quick cool factor to your outfit with these black canvas sneakers. They are comfortable for a day exploring the city but also stylish enough for a more dressy occasion.
