Hoodies/Jeans/Sneakers: August 4, 2015

August 3, 2015 | by Josh

It’s the stereotypical hacker outfit. Do it wrong, and you look like you’re still living with mom. Do it right, and you look like a million bucks (in unvested stock options). Here are three items — a hoodie, some jeans, and a pair of sneakers — on sale and worth a look this week.

The Hoodie: American Apparel Flex Fleece Zip Hoodie (Neon Orange), $24 (originally $48)

The American Apparel hoodie is a very popular pick, and they currently have two colors available at the $24 price-point. While the sale is an awesome price, we wouldn’t hesitate to pick up this hoodie at full price either if you’re dying for a different color.

The Jeans:  J.Crew Lightweight Chino in 484 Fit, $17.50 (originally $70)

Chinos aren’t jeans, but today we’re all going to pretend that they are because J.Crew is basically giving away these slim fit chinos. Get 75% off of these chinos from J.Crew with promo code SHOPSALE. While the grey is pictured below, the khaki pant is what’s currently on sale.

The Sneakers: Men’s Vans For J.Crew SK8-HI Reissue Sneakers, $39 (originally $70)

J.Crew and Vans dug into the archive together to unearth this classic hi-top sneaker. Using the SHOPSALE promo code you will get 45% off of the already marked-down price. There are plenty of sizes available in the blue, and a couple of sizes left in the grey. We have to agree with J.Crew here that:

A pair that’s built to take all the kick-flips and grinds a skater would put it through but that’s sharp enough to wear to happy hour after a day at the office.
