J. Crew Primaloft Jacket For $139

September 29, 2015 | by Paul

The US Army developed Primaloft to be a lightweight, warm, and packable insulation. Patagonia uses it in their Nano Puff jackets. J. Crew uses it in their Primaloft jacket too. Problem with both of those options is that they are $200.

Except that today, J. Crew will knock 30% off the price of the Primaloft jacket with promo code DAYTWO. They’re doing week-long sale with a new sale every day. Today’s targets jackets, boots, and shoes the sale is over… womp-womp, and that makes this jacket worth a look.

Their boot and shoe collection? Really just one pair of boots in a few colors and some loafers. All suede. Meh.

But this jacket is something.

Men’s J. Crew Primaloft Jacket, $139 (was $198)

From J. Crew:

[The men’s Primaloft jacket] stands alone as the piece in your closet that keeps your core extra warm, thanks to the use of Primaloft filling—it traps heat with the use of tiny fibers and was originally developed for the U.S. Army. As if that wasn’t enough, it’s great for travel since it self-packs perfectly into one of its pockets.
